Today ASCIA release the Human Trafficking Information and Investigations Strategy Toolkit - A Guide to Developing a Law Enforcement Strategy to Combat Human Trafficking". The Guide was a two year project of the Human Trafficking Committee which included a working group of subject matter expert's (SME) consisting of SMEs from 21 ASCIA member agencies, the Office of the Program Manager - Information Sharing Environment (PM-ISE), the Institute For Intergovernmental Research (IIR), and the Central Oklahoma's Center for Innovative Solutions (CIS). A national survey was conducted by the University of Central Oklahoma's Center for Innovative Solutions to examine the extent of human trafficking in the U.S. and develop a baseline report to identify strengths and weakness of human trafficking responses in each state. The project was funded by a grant from the Office of the Program Manager - Information Sharing Environment (PM-ISE), Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
